I need help designing in MULTISIM and drawing a wiring diagram of a Lab project using a 4-bit register using two "D" flip-flops (7474), two "JK" flip-flops
(7473). Four logic switches will be used for DATA input and one logic switch will act as the CLEAR. You will also use one of the push-button switch for a simulated
CLOCK. The output of the register will be monitored using four LEDs, and any other necessary support logic may be used.
So, the The 4-bits will have the capability of being loaded in parallel with one clock pulse, and cleared without a clock pulse and the clock will be simulated using
the single push-button switch.
I need an explanation how to Implement the register design using the logic trainer and the required integrated circuits. Input signals will use a maximum of 4 logic switches. The CLOCK signal will be simulated using one of the push-button switches of your trainer, and the CLEAR will use the other push-button. Note that the four slide switches must be able to be set to any of the 16 combinations without affecting the registers until the push button, representing the CLOCK, is pressed. The register will be cleared (set to zero) when the CLEAR push-button is pressed
