I need help in solving the compound inequalities:

A) 4 x - 3 < 20

B) x+ 3 < -2or3x - 4 < 8

I am also being asked to show the solution sets written algebraically and as a union or intersection of intervals. And to describe in words what the solution sets mean, and then display a simple line graph for each solution set.

I have written the vocabulary words potion of my assignment but am stuck on the equations.
