my assignments is that I have to searches if i was a business owner interested in purchasing 190 Broad Street in Windsor, CT and opening a Chick-fil-A with a drive through window. i will need to do some on-line searching on the Town of Windsor ct (www.townofwindsorct.com) to determine who owns the property and other information about the property prior to deciding whether to purchase it or not. then i needto answer the following questions:

i need to Go to on-line services - Assessor's Property Cards (these are the Tax Assessor records)

1. Who currently owns the property?

2. What is the total appraised value of the property?

3. How is the property currently zoned?

ji need to Go to the Land Indices on-line and log in as a guest (these are the Town Land Records where documents are filed indicating who owns the property and what mortgages, etc. are filed on the property). Need to search the owner name and not the property address.

4. What documents are filed for this property?

5. View the deed to the property. Who did they buy the property from and was it a Warranty or Quit Claim Deed?

6. Is there a Mortgage and if so what was the principal amount of the loan?

Go to Zoning Regulations under "Departments", "Planning & Zoning" and under Documents (these are the zoning laws that tell you what you are permitted to do with the property).

Since this property is in a business zone determine if you can use the property for a Chick-fil-A restaurant with a drive through and list the zoning regulation section where you found the information.
