134x2+x+6 Given the rational function f (x) = x2 + x _ 2 , nd the following: 1. its x-intercepts. 2. its y-intercept. 3. its asymptotes - vertical, horizontal, or slant 4. its graph (By hand using your information from asymptotes, intercepts, and include a table of values used. Label your axes to get a complete and accurate graph and don't just sketch from your calculator). 5. Does the graph touch any of its asymptotes? If so, at which point does the graph touch which asymptote? 6. Use long division to find the polynomial that has the same end behavior as this rational function. 7. Use your graphing calculator to sketch the graph of both functions [on the same Cartesian plane] on a standard 10x10 window. 8. Then zoom out to a 40x40 window and sketch the graphs of both functions again [on the same Cartesian plane] to show that they have the same end behavior
