In addition to the care provided to the patients by the contract physicians and employee nurses, UMC also provides pharmaceutical services. Each center operates a pharmacy in the same building as the clinic facilities. UMC employs licensed pharmacists to fill prescriptions for its patients in these pharmacies Only prescriptions written by UMC physicians for UMC patients are filled at these pharmacies.
