I need help responding to a classmate's discussion post

Hey Makayla,

After reading the DSM-5, I learned that each disorder has similarities, but they also differ as well. I understood that Anorexia nervosa was when a person restricts their intake of food substances, and Bulimia nervosa was when an individual gorge on food substances and then regurgitates it back up.

What I learned new was that binge eating disorders are incidents where an individual indulges with no self-control of their intake or worry about calories, and they will continue to eat until they feel full and will not engage in compensatory behaviors to get rid of the substance intake. " These binge eating episodes occur on average, at least once a week for 3 months (Bridley & Daffin, 2020, Section 10.1.3, p 206)".
