The Institutional Review Board approves dissertation research to protect the researcher and organization that will be used to the research.Five proposal scenarios were analyzed and evaluated research proposals using ethical research standards. Each proposal was be scrutinized and supported with the appropriate sources in the decision to approve or reject the proposal. The Capella University DBA Learner Handbook and the Institutional Review Board Conflict of Interest guidelines, as well as other sources, were used to base the decisions of each proposal.
