Presenter: Michele Fox DPT Plymouth Bay Orthopedic Associates Occupational Therapy Michele an Umass graduate of Lowell, physical therapist serves as program m manager, clinical director, including Teaching physical therapy. Michele was a swimmer with a knee injury, that was the first time she was exposed to physical therapy. A biotechnic machine used to do to along with a lot of different exercises with ice, stretching. Her dad wants her to be an engineer, because she was good at math and science, but it just didn't grab her. She thought about being a math teacher until calculus. At the age of 13 she exposes to that taught her working with athlete and the body. This what I wanted to do, she got a biology remedy degree at Cornell University. Back then when she first decided to be a physical therapy it only had to have a bachelor degree. Michele encourage to explore your career choice, you don't want to spend time getting a good education on a career that you have no passion for or dedication too. It takes a lot of academic's qualification to get accept in a physical therapy school as Michele said it's getting than staying there so search your career and make sure this what you really want
