Question 1

Go to the Waves tab. The goal of this activity is to measure the speed of sound.

Change the source to be a Sound Horn (speaker) instead of a water faucet. Click "show graph."

You'll have to use all the measuring devices you can.

Speed = Distance / Time, for a wave Speed = frequency * wavelength.

Figure out what you need to measure and calculate the speed of sound for several frequencies.

Does the speed of sound change depending on which frequency you send? Take several speed measurements and calculate the average.

Post your work here.

Question 2

Compare your speed measurements. Infer from your data what the temperature of the room may be like where this simulation is supposed to be taking place.
