Thesis Option (Beginning Fall-2017) The Thesis option uses a student selected traditional research methodology to create a research proposal and final thesis. This project option follows a tradition five-chapter thesis model (see list below). The chapters will include: Chapter 1: Purpose and Significance of the Study Identify and describe an information systems problem or other technical problem Chapter 2: Review of the Literature o Evaluate and analyze current literature on the subject Chapter 3: Methodology Identify and describe your chosen research methodology and its applicability over other methodologies Chapter 4: Findings Provide key research data, information, and findings o Analyze the key research data, information, and findings . Chapter 5: Summary/Recommendations/Discussion o Recommend solutions to the problem by applying new knowledge or a new theory regarding how to solve the stated research problem or applying existing knowledge in a new way to solve the stated research
