After inspecting and studying Posco's website, from many different perspectives, our team has decided that Posco should advise other companies, outside of the Posco Families, on how to advance their commitment to sustainability. Posco has made many developments in ensuring they are socially and economically responsible and we feel that they should consider expanding their company and increasing international sales by leading outside steel companies down a similar, greener path. Their Environmental Management Vision and Strategy: set a global standard in environmental management for effective leadership in low carbon green growth, reinforces how their passion combined with our strategic choice, would increase their revenues. Posco is currently involved in four Sustainability Management Committees which meet annually or semiannually. The Environmental Management Committee meets to discuss and analyze domestic and international environmental trends, strategies and risks. During this meeting, the CEO honors some of their partners with an excellence in environmental performance award. The winners that are chosen are those who contribute to spreading best practices and growing interest in environmental management. The company analyzes their environmental management system, its operation results, and innovativeness of environmental improvement activities before they are warranted this award. These meetings involve Posco's executives, presidents of suppliers, and CEO's of Posco's Family companies, showing that they are already networking with elite, well-connected groups. They have also been providing training, education, lectures and exchanging information to their family companies, with no evidence that concludes they are benefitting financially from these commitments. We feel with the contributions that Posco is already making that they could effortlessly start selling their knowledge to outsiders in this sector, and tremendously increase their bottom line
