I need to remember the following order of party conferences, and what each entails. Any tips for helping me remember this/which conference goes with what, would be helpful.

1. Conference of the parties:

-must have it

-parties submit discovery plan

-try to settle

2. Scheduling conference

-must have it

-limits time for discovery

-scheduling order issued that can only be modified with good cause (need to get within 90 days of filing complaint)

3. final pretrial conference

-may have it

-roadmap of what will be presented at trial

-get pretrial order that can only be modified to prevent manifest injustice
