I picked my current workplace, a local financial institution and I selected it because I am most familiar with the company's ins and outs. There are certainly some challenges and some redeeming qualities to this place. After performing the self-assessment on pg. 297, I have identified a lack of trust and commitment within the organization and the leadership team. This can significantly impact employee morale, collaboration, and overall productivity. On the other hand, the company is actively engaged with the local community. Supporting local causes, volunteering, or participating in community events can enhance their reputation. The overall member satisfaction is well above compared to the national average by a recent survey report that was shared with the team this past week. Having good customer service can be a significant redeeming quality. I know that the company also offers seminars and student resources that promote financial well-being and an opportunity for high school students to get a head start on their finances and career opportunities. This certainly demonstrates a commitment to empowering others
