I shared this short video with a few of you, but wanted to share it with the class. When a previous company I was with made a HUGE change in business models, I showed this video to my staff to try to help them along with the many questions of "change." Many students have commented that some supervisors are not receptive to change and will easily shrug off any ideas of Servant Leadership. This very well may be true. This brings up the idea that change happens -- it is something we all have dealt with and will continue to deal with, as long as the evolution of business and leadership continues. As I posed the question to some students last week.... How can a Servant Leader make change easier for subordinates, co-workers, etc?
