I think one of the stickiest situations that I have had to navigate as a psychologist is when I was working with an adolescent male who displayed high levels of anger toward his parents.

During the first couple of sessions, I administered several assessments to help direct me in our treatment planning.

Here is how it got sticky, the parent wanted to review the assessments. Every single question.

This was about twelve years ago (yes I know I"m old) and at a time when adolescents did not have the ability/right to provide consent for treatment. Meaning, parents held consent and had to right to review all parts of the records.

If you were in my situation, what would you have done? Make sure to consider this from the perspectives of all parties (mine, parents, and kids).
