I think each characteristic is important, but I can see times where each position might not be able to fully exemplify each of them to the extent the employee would like. Do you think it is possible to supplement a deficiency in one of the characteristics by placing more emphasis on another? Additionally, if you think this is possible in your opinion is there one that is more important than the others? Some positions do not have equal significance or identity, but possible providing more autonomy gives the employee more satisfaction. I personally feel that there is also a human aspect to apply here that comes with leadership. Not every employee is the same, and as some of the other classes have explored, you have to understand how to best manage your employees to set them up for success. More autonomy is not also better, sometimes the task has to be simple.
