VIMVV MU IMI\\L IIUVVIIIVUU Project Objective The objectives of the project are to illustrate how Organizational Behaviour can be used for a competitive advantage to create a High Performance Organization (HPO). In this project you are going to take a look at either Lululemon, Telus Corp, or WSP Global. Competitive advantage is created when: v A company has relationship resources that others do not have; - These relationship resources provide a positive economic benet (results); - Include a great balance of employee engagement, productivity. performance and a great relationship with employees. - These resources are hard to duplicate. Some of the questions that a company has to ask are: I Can other competitors imitate or mimic our approach? ' Should we be worried about imitation? Why or why not? ' How serious is the competitive threat from other competitors? A. THE PROJECT '1. You will research and analyze your selected company by applying Organizational Behaviour theory, concepts or principles. 2. Each Team will select four (4) OB topics covered in the course, from the list below. Explain W and Whom the chapter that illustrates the topic as it relates to your company (e.g. Organizational Culture would be an example of the topic. Stories and language are two examples of the concepts). 3. Explain how they handle it and why this has contributed to them being an HPO.
