I want a personal statement , I am applying for cyber security at a university . In our personal statement we need to explain why we are interested in choosing this field, how enthusiastic we are and stuff like this. I am attaching an example below please go through it but don't paraphrase that use your own words. I really need help if you can do it three upvotes are ready for you from my end. :)

Example =

I have made my degree course choices based around my love of computers and all things computing. To help with my decision concerning degree course choices I read through many prospectuses and attended university open days, I sat in on some lectures that outlined the course content of each subject.

After visiting the universities and talking to current undergraduate students and lecturers I was thoroughly convinced that following my love of computing was the right way to go. I am amazed how quickly the advances in computers have taken place in such a relatively short period of time.

Computer systems and applications are developing and evolving constantly, but the down side to this is, the more businesses using computer systems has seen a massive increase in cyber terrorism and computer crime, hacking in particular. This is one area of computer based courses that I have a particular interest in, from the methods behind the crimes to the counter-measures put in place to stop them.

This is by no means the only aspect of the vast computer industry that I am interested in; I would like to develop my knowledge of programming, design and perhaps the gaming side of things as well.

It was not until the beginning of Sixth Year that I really sat down to decide what I would like to do career wise, what really interested me and what could I envisage seeing myself do for the foreseeable future. The only thing that kept recurring was computers and computing. It was then that I decided to take a crash Higher in Computing course to help me to reach this first goal towards my career choice.

And I've chosen your place for two main reasons. First one is the study program. I went through the curriculum for all four years, checked every subject, and I find your curriculum superior to other competing universities in United kingdom . Second reason is your location. I know the city well, like it a lot, especially the surrounding nature, and I can imagine living there for the next few years at least.

1. I wanted to study with the best. You top the national rankings of universities, many top-class professors teach at your place, and I know that a degree from your university means something in the job interviews, and will open me doors to interesting places once I earn it. I have the grades to apply your amazing university , and see no reason why I should opt for the second best alternative. I hope you will give me a chance to prove my motivation and readiness for study cyber security in your university I just love everything about your place. First of all, the campus. The huge library, the park, I just found the place incredibly inspirational and motivating. I have visited it several times already. Secondly, the study program, and the emphasis you put on hands-on practice. Then I also like your football team, I am a big supporter and will try to play in the team if I get a chance. And last but not least, the way you present your place online and in the media really resonates with my values, and I will be incredibly happy to study at your university
