I want to write a program in Java or Python(preferred) for the implementation of my toy compiler(parser). I will have an input file that will have simple arithmetic operations like 2 + 4 * 6. It should differentiate operator, terminal and non-terminal.

I want to keep it simple. And if you could provide me the solution for '(' and ')' that will be a great help.
