I will offer 10 points extra credit if you can produce an example of a deceiving graph that was published within a year. The graph can be from television, magazine, newspapers, etc. It cannot be a graph that you created. In addition to a picture of this graph it needs to have:

  • where this graph came from
  • when it was first published
  • what information the graph is trying to convey
  • how the graph is deceiving
  • A corrected version of the graph so that it is not deceiving.

Note: A normal pie chart may be a bad graph but does not rise to the level of deceiving so you will not get credit if that is used as your example.
