I would implement three major programs as Director of Operations for my city. Individuals across all ages will participate in these programs, including exercise programs, educational programs on reproductive health, and mental health services. These programs will strive to educate the public and provide resources to help them make better health decisions. Additionally, they would reduce the organization's long-term costs associated with treatment and chronic illness care and assist in reducing costs for the organization. As part of the fitness programs that I plan to offer, city residents will have the opportunity to go to aerobics, dance, sports, and yoga classes weekly. In exchange for free classes, community members are encouraged to practice healthy lifestyle choices twice a week in their selected area. There would be one site where these programs would be available at the health department, in community centers, and online. Several studies demonstrate that fitness and exercise programs offered in the community can increase physical activity and physical fitness, primarily when interventions provide social support to those who participate. I plan to provide comprehensive reproductive health education to adults and children through my department's educational programs, free for the local community and low-cost for the surrounding region. By providing knowledge and skills necessary for staying healthy, participants can prevent sexually transmitted diseases and unintended pregnancies. Providing accurate medical information, developmentally appropriate materials, and culturally relevant information will assist everyone in the community to develop healthy sexually. I would implement mental health services annually after being hired as my last program. I will also conduct this initiative to provide cognitive health sessions to all city residents every year, even though our office already has mental health specialists. A free mental health
