I would like you to provide a minimum of 3 homemade, made up, never thought of examples that can be explained by the functionalistic theories that we are discussing. (Trial and error, negative punishment, extinction). Each journal submission should include the following components: A clear and complete description of the situation or experience that includes all pertinent components in general laymen's terms A translated description of the situation or experience using the terminology that we are discussing in class that includes the name of the specific theory/theorist that you are referring to Your thoughts related to the explanation (e.g. do you think the explanation is plausible? Is there another theory that you think would better explain the situation?)
