Idea #4 Recyclable packaging It is important to develop a good replacement for plastic bags and what would be better than just a banana leaves. I grew up in India, banana leaf is very common. We are a board for cooking and wrapping purposes. These are recyclable and so there are safer choices for packaging these items. Asian markets are also trying to adopt this technique, "... leaf-wrapped food is nothing new in Asia, it is common to have seen this standard, recyclable approach used during supermarkets" (Taggart, 2019)
