- Your product should be something that would be used by a Tourism or Hospitality service provider that operates in Canada: A travel agency, tour operator, cruise line, airline, resort operator, hotel or restaurant.
- The product is currently marketed and available for sale in Canada by a known producer/manufacturer/distributor.
- Lots of information about the product is available online.
Steps/Components for your written report
- Create your document in MS Word.
- Be sure to include your names & Seneca ID's at the top of your document.
- Product analysis:
- The name of your product (and model number, if applicable)
- Make the name of your product a hyperlink to the product's official website.
- List & describe the key features of the product.
- The name and address of the company in Canada that sells the product.
- Make the name of the company a hyperlink to their official website.
- Prospecting:
- The type of company you will focus on in your sales prospecting (e.g. Upscale spas in the GTA), with an explanation why (e.g. Spas use a lot of towels and my company's towels will appeal to upscale businesses with discerning clients).
- Describe 4 (four) Prospecting activities you can use to identify prospective companies to contact. Be specific. (E.g.
