Billy Bob shares the following: "Today has been weird. I woke up from a dream that I couldn't quite remember. Then I forgot to make the coffee and just rushed out the door. I got into my car and saw that my car had no gas, so I had to stop at the station. I was so worried about being late. I thought I could get coffee there, but then my gas cap got stuck and it took me 5 minutes to get it open. While I'm doing this, I see my ex-wife pull in with her new boyfriend. That freaked me out, so I just left and barely made it to work on time. PARAPHRASE.
Billy Bob shares the following: "So, once I get to work the phone rang and it was my boss asking me to see him immediately. I wondered, now what? I ran down to his office. On the way, I literally ran into Betty Crocker and knocked over her coffee. Oh great, I thought, my boss is pissed at me, this'll make his day. I went into his office and he takes out my last report and starts to tell me how the ideas in the report are just awesome and that I have to present them to the board next week. He grins at me and says I may have to lead a work group on this! I t would mean a raise! Wow!" REFLECT FEELING
Billy Bob continues to share: "After the meeting with my boss, I went back to my desk all pumped. Ideas were just a poppin' out of my head for the work group. Then it hit me, all this wouldn't have been possible if I hadn't gotten sober. It really humbled me for that moment. I've a lot to be grateful for".
