question 1 -
My argument against homosexuality is not that is unnatural. It exists in every society and even in other species, so I do not say it is unnatural. Question 2 -
Young person seeking meaning in life: why do you think its better to live ones life fighting for social justice rather than trying to make as much money and having as much fun as possible, or maybe just devoting ones energies to ones families and loved ones?
The older person giving advice: thats the big question in life, isnt it? I think that we should all fight for social justice because, in the end, we really have nothing better to do with our lives. When I think about it, and weigh the alternatives, I think there is no better reason than that.
Question 3 -
Today we see a growing war between the Christian world and the civilization of Islam. Samuel Huntingtons idea about the Clash of civilizations is correct. The fact is, Muslims and Christians generally dont like each other, and even if some do like each other, the two religions are essentially opposed. Look at how the Western governments fight against Muslim terrorists and how the Muslim terrorists have attacked the people of the US, Spain, England, France and Germany. That is the clearest evidence that there is a clash of civilizations.
Question4 -
Women did not have the kind of political rights they now enjoy, before the capitalism economic system that came to be adopted in most countries of the world. Nor was there any such thing as parliamentary democracy before capitalism. Nor did we have modern medicine or the internet before capitalism. Therefore, it is a mistake to fight for socialism as an alternative to capitalism.
