Ideologies My party affiliation is nominally Democrat due to me being African American and a female. I said that I was nominally Democrat because I too share Republican beliefs that Democrats oppose or have different Views about. One major belief I share with the Republican Party is their belief in Abortion believing that the 14th Amendment applies to un-born babies as well as born individuals. My beliefs sway Democrat in that I believe that the mother should have the sole-right to determine to bring a child in to this world or not
