If compensation is considered an easy area to tackle, why so many rules, regulations, and laws.  We know the answer, because historically, compensation is the area businesses have "messed with" when hiring and retaining employees.  Historical actions led to laws being implemented.  So, if some of those employees protections were removed, do you feel businesses would revert to compensation measures that still incorporate equality and fairness or measures that impact the bottom line even if those measures were not equal or fair.  EXPLAN
