If I have to use a Cultural identity Model for myself (white, female, immigrated to the U.S. from Europe) what model would best fit for me? I am totally confused on how I can fit in a cultural identity model and the only one I could see myself fit are Phinney's Model of Ethnic Identity Development (1995) or Berry's Process of Acculturation Model (1984, 1993). Are there any other ones? Which one of the two would fit better? How can I describe why one would fit better than the other?
