If I want run a TWO-WAY ANOVA using three variables namely: Current Salary, Gender and Job Category.

Please help identify the independent variables and dependent.

The background information to this question is that it is suspected that there are significant differences in salaries based on gender and that these differences happen at different job categories. Gender is defined as either male or female while job category is defined as clerical custodial or managerial.
