If I was a life estate and I had a wife and had a remainderman acting as the holder for the fee simple after I die, how does monetary money gained from the renting of property work? Specifically, I as the life estate is renting out the property, and die. Does the rent go to the remainderman? Or could it go to my wife? And lastly in death, if the property is continued to be rented out, where does the rent money go? (Fact in question, the original fee simple owner had died and left no other statement then me having a life estate, and someone down the line being a remanderman)
