If via email A accepts an offer made by B, but within that acceptance states that B must confirm within 48 hours, does the acceptance expire after 48 hours if no response from B.

Does this become a counter offer, with the introduction of a deadline?

If B doesnt see email of acceptance, until after the 48hrs, does this mean there is no legally binding agreement?

Any advice appreciated.
