If you miss the catch key for the BIOS and start the boot process in the host operating system, you must:

Pull the plug and try another process entirely.

Understand that this was not preventable.

Document that it occurred because timestamps and logs will be affected.

Hope that no changes occurred and carry on as normal.

Pull the internal hard drive out as fast as possible.
