If you were on an island with 10 other people and there were no money, do you think that money would emerge on the scene? Why or why not??

This is what I have so far....

When there are 10 people in an island and no money, there will emerge a barter economy where people exchange own goods and services with the others. For a barter economy to work, there must exist double coincidence of wants. With time, finding the double coincidence of wants will be difficult. Transaction cost will eventually rise and people will find a good that is readily acceptable by the others. This good will be used to trade for other goods people want and hence emerge as money.

What else can I add?
