IKEA is a company that offers furniture for living rooms, apartments, dining halls, and many other forms of furniture. When the business gets several requests from growing buyers from around the world, the manager wants an application to manage both orders and sales.

To design a data warehouse for the company, a system analyst is employed. The data warehouse must allow the manager, at least with regard to furniture, customers and time, to assess the situation of the business. In addition, the corporation needs to analyze:

1. the furniture with respect to its type (chair, table, wardrobe, cabinet...), category (kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, office...) and material (wood, marble...).

2. the customers with respect to their spatial location, by considering at least cities, regions and states.

Based on the information:

a) Describe all dimension attributes for the data warehouse and the fact table.

b) Design the sales star schema.

c) Describe attribute hierarchies.
