im currently studying contract law, in my assignment i have a company being sued for breach of contract the company is arguing that a contract never existed because they believe that they did not by email make an offer to the plaintiff and that it was merely discussions. I need to show some defences that the company may put forward. is their some defences i can use? for e.g could i use lack of mutual assent ? and how would this apply or any other defences?
