I'm doing a MATLAB project that takes weather conditions (i.e. temp, humidity, pressure, wind speed in x and y comp,) and is clustering them. This, as I'm told, is "classifying" days according to their weather conditions and is important to meteorology. It takes in 1000 data points, for 7 clusters, 7 excel files are created. Each excel file includes the data points in that cluster.
For example, if there are 7 clusters, then the data was analyzed with a similarity degree of 7 characters.
My question: why is this important? Why is being able to classify days helpful? Why should people care about this project? What can we possibly do with the outputStep by Step Solution
