Question 1: A genetic experiment with peas resulted in one sample of offspring that consisted of 418 green peas and 152 yellow peas.
a. Construct a 95% confidence interval to estimate of the percentage of yellow peas.
b. Based on the confidence interval, do the results of the experiment appear to contradict the expectation that 25% of the offspring peas would be yellow?
Question 2: In a study of the accuracy of fast food drive-through orders, Restaurant A had 210 accurate orders and 61 that were not accurate.
a. Construct a 95% confidence interval estimate of the percentage of orders that are not accurate.
b. Compare the results from part (a) to this 95% confidence interval for the percentage of orders that are not accurate at Restaurant B: 0.195
