I'm in my first year of teaching and am feeling so frustrated with the number of discipline problems I'm having. I try to start class and the kids just won't listen. The students talk over me and one another when I call on a student for an answer to a question. They run around the room, they don't know where to put the supplies, and we never get through the lesson the way I planned. I need help and am not sure what step to take next
