I'm Studying Drake the artist.

For this assignment, choose a notable musicianone that you feel many members of the class will recognize, and one that has a track record of at least five or so years of experience. (An artist with at least five years of experience is more likely to have a diversified set of revenue streams and will be more useful for your research.) Your goal is to hypothetically figure out the revenue streams in which your artist is likely participating. Of course, you won't be looking at their books and it will not be possible to quantify the exact size or value of some of these streams, but it is possible to figure out many of the revenue streams through online research.

Please see some suggested questions below to consider. These questions should help you to determine which streams your artist is leveraging, and form a narrative for your artist. For the activities that your artist is involved in, please identify all primary or ancillary revenue streams and any primary and secondary residual benefits you would expect from each activity. For primary and ancillary revenue streams, be sure to include the format of the revenue (i.e., mechanical royalty, performance royalty, sync fees, etc.).
