Im trying to gather more help setting up an ER Diagram in My SQL based on my mock business requirements document. Below is help I received for my start and I started with a customer table. than adding columns of customer ID, etc.
Question is, what data types do I check or uncheck for each attribute? Im attaching screenshot of what I have now and I am very new and this course is very short.
Here are some examples of columns you might include in a customer table: (Question is for each column, customer id, name, contact information, etc...do they then have separate columns under them for each contact info? So, under Contact Information do I add places for address, email, phone? If so, How?)
Customer ID: A unique identifier for each customer
Name: The customer's name
Contact Information: Phone number and email address
Address: The customer's mailing address
Credit Card Information: Credit card number, expiration date, and security code
You could also include other attributes such as customer notes, appointment history, or any other relevant information.
Am I even on the right track, Im so confused?
