You are looking for a new project to start right away. You can go anywhere in the United States. If you were making a documentary about any criminal trial happening right now, what trial would you work on and why? Do some internet research on what trials are happening. There are lots of media sites that cover criminal trials. Have some fun with this. Bring the drama and don't leave out the best/worst details!

• What makes the trial interesting. Generally, criminal trial documentaries are more interesting if there the defendant's guilt/innocence is not clear cut.
• Where the trial is taking place, include court, attorney, and judge info, if possible.
• A link to a news story about the case, preferably a new story with multimedia and links to further information. The media story must be about the trial that's happening right now; that's what makes it a high profile trial.

The case must be in trial right now. This means that there's a jury hearing arguments and considering evidence. Don't pick a trial that's already happened or one that hasn't started yet. If the defendant is in jail awaiting trial, you wouldn't have anything to film (and he'll probably agree to a plea bargain before trial).
