Imagine that your client, Jakira, is participating in an outpatient group you are facilitating. Jakira has shared with you that she wants to work on connecting with other women as she has a hard time maintaining female friendships. She told you that she has been told she seems "self-involved, jealous, and insecure". In your assessment with her, she said her goal is to learn how to connect more deeply with friends and allow them to learn more about who she really is. As the group progresses, you notice that Jakira makes jokes at the expense of other members, talks about herself a lot, and seemingly overexaggerates her accomplishments and possessions. Some members of the group respond to this positively (laughing, asking to hear more about her, etc.) but others seem irritated (rolling their eyes and seeming disinterested in her stories). Jakira does not seem to be working toward the goal that she described to you. What do you think is happening?Explain
