Begin by explaining the field or type of place you work in and the current Worldview of the workplace. Consider how that organization, business, or service area could be altered with aspects of an Indigenous Worldview. Explain what you would do, referencing particular aspects of Indigenous Worldviews. What specific ideas/methods would you implement? Explain how each ideas fits a particular aspect of an Indigenous Worldview. You could think of this on one level or multiple levels; for example human relations, organizational relations, production of goods, overall mission statement of organization. Consider methods to communicate and relate, mentoring, oral traditions, tools such as the 7 sacred teachings, the medicine wheel, Grandmother Moon Teachings, having an Elder speak, sharing in meeting circle, story telling, ceremony, sacred bundle. Does your field relate to food? Are there new ideas you could implement or new methods to source and prepare food? Respect for land? Examples: Permaculture, Respect for Animals as equals, Using the Whole Animal if organization is about producing or selling meat, Three Sisters methods of growing, seed library. Do you work in health? Are there specific ways of healing you could adopt? What tools?
