Important Note: This work is optional. So you are not obligated to do it. But if you do, it is certain that it will have an impact on your end-of-term grade. In this home work, a programming simulation will be made. Softwares to be used: a. Siemens TIA Portal b. Siemens PLCSIM C. Factory 1/0 What you need to do is listed below. i. With Factory 1/0, you will create a three-dimensional facility. You can take the existing scenes as an example. ii. You can use the components offered by the software as many times as you want. iii. So you can only use the properties of the given components. iv. You need to be able to identify and explain how the system you are building should work. V. You should write a PLC program according to this working logic. vi. You will present this work by simulating it on your computer. vii. There is no limitation on the functions to be used. viii. A method beyond the functions studied during the semester will not be expected. ix. You are free to choose your programming method. (LAD or FBD). Minimum requirements: a. The system should contain at least, but not limited to, 9 inputs and 5 outputs. b. The simulation should run as expected. C. For the system to start when the simulation is run, there must be a Start signal, a Stop signal to stop, and an Emergency Stop signal that can be used in an Emergency. Evaluation Criteria: You can take two separate notes from this work. 1. You simply describe and present the running simulation. (contribution : 10 %) 2. You submit a written report and program files giving all the details of the project. (a. PDF Report, b. PLC program and c. Factory 1/0 scene files.) (contribution : 10 %)
