In 1742, Christian Goldbach, a German mathematician, wrote a letter to fellow mathematician Leonhard Euler. In his letter, Goldbach made the conjecture that every even number greater than 2 is the sum of two prime numbers. This conjecture has become known as Goldbach's conjecture.

Goldbach's Conjecture :

Every even number greater than 2 is the sum of two prime numbers.

4 = 2 + 2

6 = 3 + 3

3 = 3 + 11

100 = 53 + 47

Golbach's conjecture has been verified for many billions of example ( around 10^8 ). But that does not make it true for all numbers.
