In a few words give me a substantive comment on this post:

I am majoring in management. After graduating from GCU, my goal is to manage a team to help them reach their desired goals and help my current company reach their financial goals. Although I am not planning a career in accounting, I believe this course will help me understand where my company currently stands as far as whether they reached their financial goals or not. My current employer gives quarterly meetings where they talk about the financial results. A lot of times, what they are saying goes right over my head. I'm hoping this course will change that. Finally, I think the company's input and output reflected on its financial report will be the most helpful. One purpose of running a business or working in accounting at a company is to make sure the company is profitability.
