In an experiment on chlorophyll inheritance in maize (corn), 1103 seedlings of self-fertilized green plants were randomly selected. Of those seedlings, 854 were green and 249 were yellow. Genetic theory predicts the ratio of green seedlings to yellow seedlings for all self-fertilized green plants is 3 to 1. Test if the percentage of green seedlings is different than what theory would suggest (75%) for all self-fertilized green maize plants. This is problem #9.74 in AF&K(Edition4).
