In Chapter 9 of Noe et al., there is considerable discussion regarding High Performance Work Systems (HPWS). One of the five elements is Information Systems. While focusing on pages 272, 283-288, research some of the most emerging technologies that HR is using to compliment HPWS. How does this technology support HPWS? What are some pitfalls or legal problems? This question is not a repeat of Week 1, DB 1. It goes well beyond covid related adjustments, such as remote work/zoom, as it asks students to apply technology to the HPWS model.
