In discussion 1, I discussed the cost vs. benefits decision method that guides the choices and outcomes that each type of decision presents. When looking at a choice regarding the costs vs benefits of packing a lunch at work vs. buying lunch at the work cafeteria, there are many different pros vs. cons, and each aspect is unique to the individual making a choice. When looking at making a lunch compared to buying lunch at work, different benefits of lunch packing include a reduction in costs, reducing food waste by utilizing leftovers, increasing control on food products consumed, and limiting time spent off the department floor waiting in line, costs include prep time required and limited options. When looking to buy lunch at work, there are increased costs, little control over products used to make the food, and increased time outside the department waiting in lines; benefits include more options and less prep time. Both have advantages and costs, all of which are different for each individual to look at and decide.
